A suave and affable person and a born fighter, Mukhtar Shaikh began his UAE journey in 2017 after arriving from Saudi Arabia where he worked for six years in a technical capacity. An Indian-born resident, Mukhtar Shaikh set up a small shop in Sharjah industrial area 1 where he started dealing in used POS machines, printers, scanners, and other electronic and computer peripherals. He went on to reach out to every nook and corner of the Emirates selling second-hand products which later on became the first choice of customers. With affordable prices and a long warranty (which no other second-hand dealer gives), Mukhtar Shaikh was able to attract clients not only in the UAE but in other neighbouring countries as well. In March 2022, his dream came true when he launched the Dubai branch. Pinning high hopes on his customer base and the growing demand for used products, Mukhtar Shaikh is optimistic about expanding his operations in other parts of the UAE soon.

A banker by profession and a multi-talented personality, Irfan Nayeem Mohammed was born and brought up in Hyderabad city of India. Having made his base in the UAE for the past 15 years, Irfan Mohammed joined Qamar Al Buteena in 2022 and is responsible for all financial dealings and transactions of the company. He believes that used products have a bright future as more and more people are opting for second-hand branded goods due to the skyrocketing prices of new products in the market. And with the added advantage of the lengthy warranty that the company is offering, there are very few options left for the customers to give a second thought. Irfan Mohammed’s vision is to take the company to new heights in the coming years. He plans to expand the business in a phased manner across the UAE with Abu Dhabi being his next choice. Irfan Mohammed also has dreams to make forays into several other businesses like IT, food, automobile, and sports.

A distinguished senior journalist, able administrator, and experienced public relations executive with an impressive track record of 25 years, Shahed Baig is well trained in diversified fields like the print media, information technology, advertising, office administration, sales, marketing, sports, public relations, etc. He joined Qamar Al Buteena’s Dubai branch in 2022 and is currently responsible for the company’s Dubai and Sharjah branches’ administration, PR, HR, sales, and marketing strategies. With excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities and a forward-thinking approach, Shahed Baig is adept at handling multi-tasking responsibilities with much ease. He plans to make inroads in the remote areas of the UAE where customers have very limited choices to buy affordable and branded second-hand electronic goods. He claims that the company is making steady growth due to its cheap prices, long warranty, timely service, and above all the trust of its valuable customers. He is committed to taking the company on cloud nine.
